MyMemory
Inspired by the memory card of a computer this light art work serves as a safe place to preserve precious personal memories. Lit from behind, it casts a bright light on the entrance hall. In a series of workshops children and parents staying at the centre used computer components to build small scenes that show important events in their lives or little figures that represent their loved ones. In the final art work these memories are given a place in the huge (computer) system.
